District Cub Football League

Last Match - Saturday 11th May 2002

The team of nine played their final match at Cookham Rise School. They drew with the Cookham Cub Pack, but won the league overall.

It was an impressive game with both teams playing well. Pinkneys Green did well to draw with the team who beat them in the Cup Final a few months ago.

The trophy was presented by Gill Hill (Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs in Maidenhead) and as it was the last game of the season, Barry Palmer and Robin Wolfe (team coaches) presented players' awards for man of the match, player of the season and young player of the season.
