We are in the village of St Nazaire between Carcassonne (famous for its walled city) and Narbonne, only 20 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches. Spain is just over an hours drive away and magnificent Cathar castles can be reached within an hour. We are situated on the edge of a Minervois wine-producing village, only 30 seconds walk from the vineyards, and ten minutes from the Canal du Midi. Cheap Ryanair flights are available to the area.

CARCASSONNE is a walled medieval city, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. With 2 fortified surrounding walls it bears witness to 2,600 years of history. A 12th century castle is contained within the city, together with the church of St. Nazaire, which has some of the loveliest, stained glass in the Languedoc.
